There is a Karabella shawl collared sweater pattern - it's cut a bit lower (I think) but you might could make it work. I got mine from kpixie.com.
Now see, for 29 bucks.... I'd BUY it. HA! I'm not a very loyal knitter am I?
Have you tried some of Debbie Bliss' adult pattern books? There might be one like that - it's been awhile since my knitting books have seen the light of day, so I can't recall exactly... but maybe I'll look this evening.
LOl, I agree with Scout.. for that price, I would just get it... then maybe deicde how it could be improved... LOL.. of course, I never stick with a large project, so go figure.
